These beautiful pottery soap dishes are handmade by my cousin Natalie Schlabach, a talented young artist from Ohio.  Natalie hand-throws each dish on her potter's wheel and then fires them in a kiln and glazes them in a careful multi-step process. The result is a durable and beautiful pottery soap dish in a subtle array of natural earth tones that is perfect for helping natural handmade soap last longer. 

On a functional level, these soap dishes are as hardworking as they are beautiful. The unique two-piece design allows water to drain away into the small cup underneath, keeping the soap (and your counter) dry. Each dish is a one-of-a-kind work of art that you'll use everyday.  Perfect!
