100% natural, made-from-scratch olive oils soaps
I make each batch of soap by hand, stirring together all of the ingredients in a big stainless steel pot. The fresh soap mixture is poured into one large wooden mold to set up overnight. The next day, I use a clever handmade wire cutter to cut the entire batch of soap at once into thick, chunky bars with clean cut edges. Each bar weighs approximately 4 oz, and measures a good 2 1/2" long, 2" wide, and almost 1 1/2" thick. They are fairly uniform in size, but because it's still a very hands-on process the weight of individual bars may vary ever so slightly. That's part of the charm of an authentically handcrafted bar of soap!
After a batch of soap is cut, I line up the bars on wooden trays and set them aside on my curing shelves for about 4 weeks. After its fully cured, each beautiful bar of soap is wrapped (by hand!) in oatmeal-colored tissue paper and a stylish kraft paper label.
